    Another unexpected twist was witnessing a gathering at a local temple for the Sunday prayers. What was unexpected was to see traditional musicians and dancers at a temple rarely seen by tourists. As we watched from a overhead walkway, we felt like eavesdroppers in a spiritual communication. Of course that didn’t stop me from clicking this photo before scurrying away. : by nivi, Views[247]
         		 The lotus, so much a part of their culture is seen throughout; in their art, architecture and in pots strewn across the city. What truly amazed me was how they incorporate their natural surroundings into their daily lives. For a country that thrives on tourism you expect to see the infamous lady boys performing a lively show. What amazed me was the amount of traditional folklore that is incorporated into the show.
