There are other original Moai artifacts scattered around the world including the head of a Moai at a park in Glendale California.          		 The prominent religion in Valparaiso during the 1800's was catholic. The catholic church allowed other religions to practice their faith just as long it didn't compete too much with the Catholic faith. To ensure the other religions didn't get too popular they were'nt allowed to build their church with a front door.          		 The wine cellar was made of limestone, mud and egg and was very old, dark and damp. It also came complete with a legend. The owners wine mysteriously kept disappearing from the cellar. He devised a plan to put an end to the thefts and spread a rumor the devil lived in it. Some say they saw the devil with their own eyes and everyone trembled at the thought of going into the cellar.          		 Estadio Monumental served as a makeshift prison in 1973 during the time dictator Augusto Pinochet ruled making it one of the most infamous sports arenas in the world. It opened in 1938 and to say it's showing its age would be an understatement. Barbed wire and plexiglass separate each section obscuring the view of the first 10 or 15 rows of seats in the entire stadium so nobody sits in them. An additional section of seating was left empty in remembrance of the thousands that were beaten, tortured and murdered by Pinochet leaving minimal seats available in the section we were quarantined.
