         		 Walking back to the Yak Hotel, I noticed this young boy crying as his mother tried to comfort him. She saw me watching, and pointed me out to him ~ he stopped wailing immediately and just STARED, tears frozen on his cheeks.          		 All over the place, you can find people sitting by the side of the road, peeling fresh water chestnuts and selling them for Y2 or Y3 a bagful. They are about a million times sweeter and juicier than the canned variety...I will never be able to add 'our' water chestnuts to a stirfry again! : by lolo, Views[661]
