         		 The biggest portrait of Mao I have ever seen hangs from the Gate of Heavenly Peace, leading into the Forbidden City. This gate looks out over Tiananmen, and Mao often used this vantage point to survey troops and rallys in the Square.: by lolo, Views[344]

         		 Out front of Chairman Mao's Mausoleum, just behing Tiananmen Square. I've never felt so conspicuously white before ~ I was definately the only westerner in line to see his body.
