    Pottery Square, Bhaktapur, Kathmandu. These pottery squares are world renowned. Here pottery is a family job, the place is common for all the villagers. so everyone in the village work together. their mundane life is part of their religious life too. so even in the common places we can see the temples and buddha statue everywhere in the village. by: manikandanav Views[1545] For now, the last two generations of Hanunuo Mangyans who know their native craft of basket-weaving of Oriental Mindoro sun-drying the buri leaves, a type of palm. by: ivan Views[1587] Baye Omeng weaves their traditional indigo and white fabrics on her backstop loom.     Daily travels of a herder through these lush hills in this sun-drenched high altitude landscape with wind-swept skies makes Lesotho a whimsical paradise for a herder to daydream. by: faizafarah Views[277] The noise of passersby traveling on the road behind him gets the attention of this lone herder collecting his thoughts. He sits on the metal railing of a meandering highway while watching his herd in the distance as the sun glistens on his face. It is not uncommon for herdsman to cross paths with one another every so often in a country where it is estimated that three quarters of the population live in rural areas, where poverty is prevalent and herding is a necessary way of life for so many. by: faizafarah Views[333] Teboho roams with his cattle. Herders spend much of their time alone with their flock. He is the eldest grandchild and the family breadwinner.     4 - A city where music has soul - the music is being played at every corner. I passed twice next to this mister before I took the photo. There were not many people waking through this street, yet he kept playing as if he was in the biggest concert on the world. These were musicians at their best age. They clearly knew what they were doing and they followed the mood of the day with their choice of music. There's no end to the creativity in this city. One can see young men of different races and cultural background gathered together around a thing that makes them one, gathered around a magic of making music. This was a band playing at a simple restaurant in French Market. I was attracted by an old microphone and the guitar player at first. This was a scene I was only able to see in the movies when I was a kid, so it was a very special moment for me. The uneasy journey creates even a bigger respect for the impressive volcano, which is considered a living god and climbing it is a little pilgrimage. by: adelice Views[418] The Bromo volcano is not easily accessible, you must travel through large areas of sand. The local tribe members, the Tenggerese are not Muslims but kept their ancient that are based on Hinduism. by: adelice Views[332] Gypsy girl crossing the creek in Negreni at the annual flea-market in October. Many gypsy families come to the market from afar, some of them still come by horses and carts. They sleep in tents in the nearby forests and wash in the creek by Negreni. This young girl looked like a wonder, so beautiful so I couldn't keep my eyes off her and when she crossed the creek, and most likely the cold water tickled her feet, I managed to captured her smile, which was shy and playful in the same time. by: zsrepasy Views[929] Relaxing moments on the top the hill after a long hike, overlooking the village. Uncle Istvan, man of agriculture and man of nature, knowing every single bits and pieces of the hills, forests and valleys that surround his village, Chiocis-Strugoni, led us to the top of one of the highest hills surrounding the village.
