    Tucked away from Hsipaw town in Shan State, Nothern Myanmar, there is a small village composing of about 15 houses residing on the basin of a river.     Freedom in Paradise. Palomino - Colombia by: momentos Views[1022] As a summer well spent draws to an end, so does my journey in Yellowstone National Park. I had not experienced the beauty of Mother Nature by myself but with friends, whom we hiked, worked, and enjoyed this adventure together. 100 miles is not the end, but a small step towards bigger beginnings. by: terence1991 Views[693] As the hiking trails around Old Faithful area were all conquered, the next hike was with my colleagues further up north. On our way back just before dusk, a Bull Elk was spotted grazing on the grass below its feet at the shore of Yellowstone Lake. Moments after my camera shutter was released it returned to the forest, but it was the opportunity taken which makes the difference. by: terence1991 Views[665] Castle Geyser’s eruptions are predicted at an approximate 8 hour interval, but the next eruption was unpredictable as there had been a minor eruption. It was nature’s special performance as the full moon, wind direction, and the clear sky created a lunar rainbow formed in the mist of the eruption despite a 4 hour delay.     Yellowstone National Park is the first national park in the United States, renowned for its geothermal features and diverse wildlife. As a park employee on a student summer work and travel program, hiking was the usual off-day activity for me. Sometimes we play basketball or ping-pong, sometimes we watch movie, play guitar, occasionally we make fire. Just like the picture, having a fire is my favourite entertainment, everyone could share their story, and because all the Wwoofers came from different country so we always have stories to tell. Through the communication between us and Toni, we could know what's a real local Aussie life which is very important to a traveler, and she could also know many different culture in this world. I think I was really lucky to spend 5 months with them as a Wwoofer. To exchange our food and housing we need to help them making cheese as well. Sometimes it's a very hard work cause we all need to get up at midnight to make cheese or spend 12 hours in cheese room to get everything done. He is the first shepherd I've ever met in my life time. I was born and raised in city so I never had a chance to live with a real shepherd. And I am always keen to meet one of these intelligent canidae. His excellent skills of handling the goats are always surprised me. They take the goats out to picnic everyday, they eat grains, fruits, minerals, seaweed(very expensive), vitamin, they drink fresh rain water(like human) with Italian herbs and rose hips. That's why the goats rarely sick.     A very hard-working farmer's name is Toni. The owner of a goat's dairy farm in Australia. They make and sell goat's cheese for living. In the farmer's market, she was selling cheese confidently.     Nestled amongst the Western Ghats is 'Agumbe', called the 'Cherrapunji of South India' it is the land of the King himself, King Cobra. It is also a bio-diversity hot-spot. by: nitinv29 Views[1168] Historically the Western Ghats were well-covered in dense forests that provided wild foods and natural habitats for native tribal people. Its inaccessibility made it difficult for people from the plains to cultivate the land and build settlements. The area is ecologically sensitive to development and was declared an ecological hotspot in 1988 through the efforts of ecologist Norman Myers. Its a world heritage site. The peaceful bliss of the haze allows him the chance to reflect as the sun goes down.
