It was so eloquently kept down to the minute detail and the sun shining through gave an ambient feel. I noticed this private garden as I crossed a small back-alley bridge. I couldn't help but smile what with the overpowering growth intermingled with a quiet and quaint branch off the main canal. Like something history forgot. by: gemearly Views[1449] Gander by Tradition The gondolas are an integral part of Venetian culture. No matter where I walked - over a bridge, along a canal, sitting by the water's edge, there was a gondolier and his gondola, taking lovebirds or a giddy group of friends drinking up the beautiful sights on their tour. I saw this unmanned gondola and stopped to admire the detail of its craftsmanship.
