    The Fuwa, or Five Animals, or the Friendlies. Whatever you call them, they are so cute! Their names--Beibei, Jingjing, Huanhuan, Yingying, and Nini--spell out The Seven Star-Stones, placed here for Taoist balance by Jiajing. Everything is white marble. 9 is an imperial number. The altar is round to signify heaven, while the surrounding wall is square, to signify earth.     Here we are at probably the highlight of the tour. It's one of two inhabited volcano craters in the world. Words can't describe the view and experience we had perched up high looking down at this area were they still use oxen to plow their fields.
