Constant activity with logs being loaded onto huge ships, trucks driving up and down, cranes moving from side to side, I managed to climb up and get this birds eye perspective over one of the South Islands busy ports. Taupo is largest freshwater lake by surface area in geopolitical Oceania after Lake Murray (Papua New Guinea). The vast open waters of Lake Taupo give you a feeling that's very hard to describe, spotting the mountains in the distance, mountains in which we had climbed the previous day. This evening was particularly great as this image was taken as i reached the bottom after climbing to the top of the mountain.
