    The Spaniards appreciate the little things in life more than I've ever seen in any other cultures. They live in such a beautiful country where so much history was built around. Plaza de Espana was something I walked by everyday, and I always stopped by and just stood there and fell in love everyday. by: susanagitana Views[622] With a country that has culture and history. Religion is a huge factor to how this country presents itself and to themselves.     This Seville Cathedral is also known as The Cathedral of Saint Mary of the See. It is a must-to-see when visiting the capital city of the Andalusian region in Spain. It is located near the Alcazar Palace complex and together with the Cathedral, they are listed in the UNESCO World Heritage Site since 1987. You have to put in mind that it is the largest Gothic Cathedral in the world. After St. Peter's in Rome and St. Paul's in London, It is also the third largest church in the world. If you have the chance to go inside, do it because its interior is really amazing. You can also find the remains of Christopher Columbus inside the Cathedral. by: euroangel Views[1023] Guests, Tourists, as well as locals enjoy the friendly sunny weather in Seville during winter time. Since it has a subtropical climate, you can visit this city during winter season when the weather is not so hot. Seville, like most Andalusian destinations, is known for its tapas. You can find a lot of tapas bars and restaurants around the foot of the cathedral in the center of town. There are also available seats outside especially when the weather is nice. You can find four allegorical figures on top of his tomb representing the four kingdoms of Spain during Columbus’ life, Castille, Aragon, Navara and Leon. It is located in Maria Luisa Park and was designed by Anibal Gonzalez. It is a good example of the Rennaisance Revival Style in Spanish Architecture. Don't miss walking around the area and if you have enough time, take a walk in Maria Luisa Park is also a good chance to relax and enjoy its landscape. Valerio was our host in Palmi (south of Italy) in September. He is doing erasmus in Santiago de Compostela.
