    They missed the most spectacular happenings up there at the top of the mountain. Though they climb the mountain because this is kind of a pilgrimage. Somehow you have to finish the journey of nearly 3-4 hours from the bottom to the top. by: arugambay Views[733] This is the shadow of the Adam's Peak. One of the remarkable incidents I have ever seen in my life. You must see it by your naked eyes. This was my second visit to Adam's Peak. But I got the chance to see the sunrise and the shadow only this time. At first I couldn't. It's the sunrise of a new day.     This photo features Sama, the only elephant injured by a landmine. It seems that even in the animal world discrimination is alive with other elephants going around Sama. by: ewanarnolda Views[1272] The Pinnawela Elephant Orphanage provides 25 acres of land for the elphants to be safe and free.
