    I took this picture for John, who is a forestry major. Walking through the scrub with Garry he would point out and name different trees in his traditional language (Kunwinjku). Thanks to my camera, however, I will never forget their faces, or the beautiful land in which they lived. These truly unique , but so important trees are a heaven when it comes to photography. Here it almost looks like the trees are tip toeing out of the water. As soon as I saw it I knew I wanted to photograph some girl there. Despite being surrounded by man made roads it seemed untouched and virgin as the vegetation grew almost to your knees.
