    Secret Garden It's a rare site to see such luscious green in the expanse of brick and floating maze that is Venice. I noticed this private garden as I crossed a small back-alley bridge. I couldn't help but smile what with the overpowering growth intermingled with a quiet and quaint branch off the main canal. No matter where I walked - over a bridge, along a canal, sitting by the water's edge, there was a gondolier and his gondola, taking lovebirds or a giddy group of friends drinking up the beautiful sights on their tour. I saw this unmanned gondola and stopped to admire the detail of its craftsmanship.
