Famous statue of Prime Minister John Curtin, outside of Town Hall in Kings Square. Curtin was Prime Minster during the 2nd World War, and is often hailed as one of Australia's greatest leaders, thanks to his poise and inspiring direction during the war. Like Roosevelt, he died in office in July, 1945, just before the end of the war. He was the MP for Fremantle with the Australian Labour Party, still to this day the only Prime Minster from a Western Australia electorate (riding).: by flyted, Views[1301]
