    Cooking in the region "Furnas" -Picture 5840- This is how the Azorean locals do their cooking. Dig a hole, bury the pot, wait for several hours and enjoy nature meanwhile. They are having their summer picnics near a lake where the soil around it is hot. Even nearby restaurants cook their food in these burrows.
