![After hiking for a couple a couple of hours in blistering winds and rain we come to a stop. We stop at Marion's lookout which is overlooking dove lake. Once up there I am taken to a special spot, where I am then shown a remarkable view! Closes to me is the Tanglefoot Beech (Nothofagus gunnii), this remarkable little tree is the only alpine deciduous tree, which in itself makes it more special. This tree encapsulates sheer beauty, and there adds even more an emotional feeling to it.
I was in awe of the beauty of the flora, but was even more moved by what I was to see next. Looking over dove from a high altitude, was nothing short of spectacular, and I was in sheer awe looking down.
