    Patience - Bus Ride to Bharatpur This bus ride should have taken 1 ½ hours instead of 5. However, a political protest blocked the main road and our driver decided to venture through the back roads. Unfortunately the roads weren't quite fit for our bus. Eventually a tractor (the second one to give it a go) pulled us out and we went on our way. Remarkably, everyone stayed calm despite these potentially frustrating circumstances. Most waited up in the shade while several passengers helped out with the process of freeing the bus from the mud. Life is hard in India and yet I saw many examples of how people face the daily challenges, both expected and unexpected, with impressive patience.: by jennb, Views[353]
