    Stony corals off the south western edge of the Gordon Reef. Coral reefs are particularly sensitive to man-made changes to their environment. Of particular concern to the Gordon Reef is the construction of the proposed Saudi-Egypt causeway which would release more sediment and pollutants into the Tiran Straits.
