A professional torero, invited to this unique event held yearly on Peru’s Independence day in the remote village of Cotabambas, begins to bullfight with bulls graciously donated by local villagers. Unlike similar events in Mexico and Spain, no bulls are actually hurt or killed and the event occurs in the town square as opposed to a stadium.: by cuibono, Views[728]
