“They gave me back my reason to live”. That’s the love Warren has for a pair of Jack Russells, Bronx and Gypsy. He became their dad when a mate upped and moved to Queensland a couple of months back. It was the day after he’d tried to end it. He’d stood at the curb of a pedestrian crossing on George Street waiting for the very moment before a bus would pass by. He lifted his foot to take the step but a woman pulled him back by his red rucksack and saved his life. It wasn’t his first attempt. The burden of living hand to mouth on the streets is a heavy one.
