![Almost always paddled endlessly until the doors of a community hidden in the mangroves or the arms of a river, in the woods or on top of a hill. The canoe trip requires one of the integral absolute detachment. The hours of rowing varied independently of weather conditions (sun, rain, cold or wind) or the human condition, sometimes felt hungry, some people got sick and tired took care of us all.
Over time communities were becoming increasingly distant and the presence of the forest, mangrove and mountains more exuberant. We have always been well received in the communities in which we are very simple people, but possessing a very rich culture, a tradition that should be preserved. Find fishermen, hunters, shellfishermen, artisans, fandangueiros, oyster collectors, teachers, healers and many others. The way of life is guided by mysticism caiçara related to use of mangrove land and sea.
However, there is a huge conflict you enter the laws governing the nature of the region. The main conflict was noted the application of the laws of nature conservation clash with subsistence activities of the communities. The laws bring several concepts and rules in practice occur irregularly and are often a threat to such communities, not reconcile its existence with nature preservation. People living in extreme states of insecurity mainly related to health and education, abandoned schools where teachers work virtually alone, there is a large government neglect.
