    When travelling to Val D'isere in France, I wanted to document the mountains beyond the ski resort. I think this picture represents my lasting impression on the place. When I was atop the mountain with nothing but my camera, I felt a sense of deep peace that can only be accomplished by immersing yourself in complete nature. I found the juxtaposition between the bustling ski slopes and the everlasting solemnity of the mountains overwhelming. : by katielongleyphotography, Views[418]
