Dabawallahs in Mumbai! Best you just read it on Wikipedia, bit tricky to explain. But I'll try anyways. 200,000 boxed lunches are hand delivered every day in Mumbai. For various reasons, men in Mumbai don't eat out for lunch nor do they bring a boxed lunch. Their wife cooks a hot meal and sends the lunch box via a delivery man - the dabbawallah. He takes the train downtown and then sorts the 200,000 lunches with his colleagues for delivery. No computers allowed! Well, the dabbawallahs are poor uneducated men who are usually illiterate and unfortunately don't speak English - we tried. https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Dabbawala: by finally, Views[466]
