    This photograph was taken off the ski path in Val D'isere, France. I went as far as I could on the ski lifts and then had taken the mountain paths to discover this church. I was struck by how, so far from any settlement, there was a church looking out towards the Italian Alps. To me, it felt like the church had been built as close to the heavens as possible.: by katielongleyphotography, Views[255]
