Food can open your mind! Before trying it, my traditionalist Italian mother feared the avocado with spaghetti, some conservative Indian friends had doubts about masala curry with pasta, some Mexican buddies claimed this is just macaroni with guacamole, and a couple of Persian friends where not sure about the use of pistachio beyond pastry (which Sicilians know well, instead).
