Beautiful mix of greenery, granite and rushing waterfalls! 33 miles of trails over 2 days and Matt got to scare a bear away from our campsite. An exceptional national park. Want to go back in winter to check it out.

Beautiful lakeside camping for a couple of nights. First time in what is considered "bear country" where bear proof lockers are provided for all food, cosmetics, liquids and anything scented.

Spent two nights camping at 8000 ft elevation within Death Valley. Was a great location to view an annual meteor shower that was going on. Bloody hot down in the valley, but a pleasant 30 to 40 farenheit cooler at the campsite.
