    The cliffs in Sydney are an unfortunate magnet for suicides and so you often see signs like this when walking along the coast. The most recent Australia Local Hero of the Year in fact is a retired guy who lives nearby, who keeps his eye out for people on the edge and offers to bring them back to his house for a cup of tea and a chat.: by flyted, Views[319]

         		 Around the corner from South Head into the harbour, you come across Camp Cove, a nice swimming and snorkelling spot. This was where the First Fleet first landed in 1788 upon arrival in Sydney Harbour, but they didn't stay long and moved down to The Rocks soon afterwards, perhaps hours later... as a result, there is just a tiny plaque recognizing the fact.
