As protests and demonstrations are such an integral part of the lives of Palestinians, I spent much of my time attending these events in the hope to portray another side to them that is not necessarily as readily aired on Western media coverage. This particular protest started as a football match, with the Palestinian pictured playing as the goal keeper. With the emphasis being put on the peaceful nature of the protest, it was discouraging to see how rapidly the army resorted to heavy-handedness and tear-gas. : by takenbytom, Views[377]
