Flying rescue helicopter is very similar to flying military one. Many times you are landing in the spots that are new
for you and are not market. You have to look for power line, trees and analyse shape of the ground where you land.
At the moment most of rescue pilot are ex-military, there is no school for civil pilots preparing them for requirements of the job, 
but there are plans to prepare training for pilots interested to do this kind of job.
