On my trip to Kerikeri to visit ellie at her farming place (traveller can stay at homes for free in exchange for performing farm duties... in Ellie's case in Kerikeri, she landscaped for one week and left lol) the bus stopped in Paihia (40 min south of Kerikeri. Sun kissed islands. To be honest I wasn't expecting the British Virgin Islands to be so mountainous. They rise steeply out of the depths to around 1700 feet. Consequentially it offers great hiking and amazing ocean views. This is the view looking west towards Great Thatch Island from above Cane Garden Bay. I chose this photo because of the great combination of light and color but it also gives the viewer insight to the local topography and the many small islands dotted around the area.: by simonlucasnz, Views[401]
