St. Michaels mount is a glorious establishment like no other. Jutting out monumentally from the sea, you feel the sense of inferiority when you stand beneath it, and the sense of power when you stand atop. You imagine you are Cornish royalty on the battletops lined by rows of cannons, imagining what it would have looked like to see notorious Pirate vessels sail into the bay. each window looks out into wide and endless sea, and inside lies a fortress which evokes true mystery and wonderment. This photo represents my experience of hiding away on this ancient structure, looking out toward the sea. It is a precious memory and i am so happy i captured it.: by breewilkinson, Views[524]
