Afternoon Encounter: His "Fire Obama" signs on the front yard landed me in the middle of a political conversation regarding youth in america and their decision making abilities. When Joe saw me standing in front of his house, cautiously taking pictures, he did not hesitate to loudly ask me what I was doing and walk over his holster in plain sight. Intimidated by Joe, his outfit, and his dog, I decided to defend my camera and explain myself. After an hour of street discussion, I made a portrait that I had waited an hour to make.
