Newly constructed refugee camps are composed of small tents, not bigger than the size of a small bedroom, in which an entire family sleeps. Sometimes it’s a dozen of people all sleeping in a 2.5 square meters room. It’s even worse, especially when new refugees arrive. Older refugees tend to share their space until the new-comers get registered so they can benefit from a new tent. Poverty is rampant throughout this temporary settlement. The number of refugees living without help is increasing, and accommodation is scarce. Access to adequate health care services, water and sanitation is becoming increasingly problematic. : by karimsakr, Views[801]
