Buffalo are highly regarded in Tana Toraja. They are large, beautiful creatures. Some are albino and worth at least $10,000. Buffalo are slaughtered at funerals and the meat shared among the community.

![February 17th 2008, at 15:49 CET, Republic of Kosovo declares Independence. After three minutes, some guys on the fourth floor of a building, had this very simple but most wonderful idea! In the paper there wrote 'U SHPALL' meaning 'DECLARED'! They saw it on TV, and felt an urge to inform everybody out there on the boulevard! Everybody's eyes were up there, all the cameras were filming and photographing them! I am still amazed from what I lived in those 72 hours of constant celebrating! Few days later I suffered the flu and was sleepless and tired, but I did never regret any of that.
