After an hour of walking in the desert, and an extra 30 minutes of climbing to the top, Pinatubo welcomes trekkers with this vision. The crater contains highly mineralized water, and due to the water's sulfur content, there is a distinct yellow discoloration of the rocks that blends with the blue color of the lake. It is unbelievable that this was once the mouth that spewed chaos in the northern part of the archipelago, and changed hundreds of Filipinos' lives forever. : by nicole_0809, Views[798]
