Originally the State Theatre, built in 1929, in a wild Moorish style including minarets. It was the largest theatre in Australia when built, but converted into a cinema and renamed the Forum in 1963. They renovated it again in 1995 and nowadays the Forum a busy concert and cinema venue, across the street from Federation Square.
